ABout ITS

​Green Hope Theatre's International Thespian Society Troupe, Troupe #6291, is a group of Green Hope's highest honors theatre students who represent the company in and outside school, and set the example of what it means to be a company member. Student membership is earned based on hours of service in the Green Hope Theatre Program. The troupe meets once a month. During those meetings, the troupe conducts business such as managing publicity, events, and Drama Club.

emily purdy (she/her) - president

Emily Purdy is a senior and Co-Committee head of PR. She has been involved in every main stage GHTC show since her freshman year. Emily’s favorite show she’s been a part of with GHTC is 9 to 5, because it was a really fun and energetic show!

brian pollard (he/him) - vice president

Brian Pollard is a junior and co-committee head of Drama Club with Brody Lyons! He has been involved with GHTC since 2023 and has been a part of 9 shows! His favorite production that he has done was singing and dancing to Dolly Parton’s 9 to 5!!!

brody lyons (he/him) - secretary

Brody Lyons is a senior and co-committee head of the Drama Club Committee with Brian Pollard! He has been involved with GHTC since his freshman year and has participated in 11 productions with the company. Of the 11, his favorite was Anon(ymous)​!

nic andersen (she/they) - treasurer

Nic Andersen is a senior and one of the heads of Events Committee. She's participated backstage and onstage with GHTC since her freshman year, from costuming to directing to performing. Their favorite show with GHTC is a tie between the Theatre IV production of Metamorphoses and the fall production of Almost, Maine–both of those being shows that she feels were specifically very artful in their execution, something she admires greatly and wants to keep working with this year!

aj bronstein (he/they) - historian

AJ Bronstein is a senior and has been a head of the PR committee for 2 years! They have done 13 shows with Mr. C. Their favorite production with GHTC is Almost, Maine and their favorite production they've been involved with outside of school is Big Fish! They cannot wait to run the theatre Instagram again this year, as well as put their all into acting!

Emma Wiatrak is a senior and one of the heads of Events. She has been involved with 11 shows since joining GHTC freshman year. Emma’s favorite show she has been a part of is Freaky Friday because of the heartwarming story and lifelong friendships she made in the show!
