Starting the week of October 15, you can go online at www.greenhopefinearts.org and purchase your tickets for Noises Off! The performances are November 8, 9, & 10 at 7:00 PM. The show runs approximately two and half hours and is rated pg-13 due to language and adult situations. ALSO, ON NOVEMBER 10! We are having a special dinner Fringe Fundraiser in our commons area prior to the final performance of Noises Off! We are proud to host professional chef, Ms. Zacki Murphy, as she dazzles us with an exceptional Mediterranean Menu! The event for the dinner starts at 5:30 and the cost is $50 per person--this includes both your dinner and a premium seat ticket to the final show of Noises Off! The decor theme of the dinner is 1980's. We will also feature Mr. Lutter's rock-band club and, for a small fee, they will play live music from the era! Though not required, we encourage you to dress up in 1980's style clothing to join in the fun! It's sure to be an electric, tubular, and radical night of fun and delicious food! Zacki Murphy is a native of Hillsborough, NC and a graduate of the University of North Carolina. She sampled many world cuisines on location as a highly successful Ford model. Zacki was the first woman to take her beloved Lexington pork BBQ to the streets of NYC. Her passion for fresh regional food was rekindled as the owner of Zacki's BBQ, and as a food stylist for Martha Stewart in the 90's. Returning to NC in 2004, Zacki opened Zacki's Culinary Creations to offer her distinguished private chef services and creative food presentations to the community. The company, under her direction, has served church socials, family reunions, small weddings, and milestone anniversary events. Its clients range from individuals who are too busy to cook to companies who desire creative dining options for business meetings and corporate retreats. All meals feature fresh local produce, seasonal flowers, vegetables from her own "Secret Garden," or local farmers. Many of her signature recipes and food stylings have been featured in best-selling cookbooks, national food magazines and on network television. Originality and variety are always essential ingredients in Zacki's Culinary Creations. As a culinary instructor, Zacki goes into homes and teaches "Cook In Your Nook" private classes. Often guests participate and can enjoy a wide choice of cuisines from "Tapas Delight Night" to "The French Connection." Recently, Humana has contracted Zacki to be a spokesperson of healthy foods, her monthly presentations reflect various subject matters, such as diabetes or low cholesterol.
